Hi, I’m Faith.
I’m an American who has lived in England most of her adult life, which I used to think was the most interesting thing about me.
I find it hard to say what I am, because I spent so much of my life trying to force myself into ill-fitting boxes, but I’ll have a go: I’m a writer and brand strategist, poet, yoga teacher, spiritual director, and creator of restorative spaces and experiences.
I’m a whole human being who is equal parts deadly serious and completely ridiculous.
What is Porchlight?
Porchlight is the newsletter I’ve been writing for several years, although I’ve only recently moved it to Substack.
It’s about a lot of things - sometimes it’s stupid and funny and I share a lot of Veronica Mars and New Girl gifs; others it’s super-serious and poetic and I cry while I’m writing it.
The name was originally inspired by the idea of coming home to yourself.
Mostly, it’s about how our humanity and our spirituality are the same thing.
